Purchased Claims Terms & Conditions

Lien Placement

Lien can be placed with us by simply emailing or faxing the relevant documentation and contract. Once submitted, our engagement is considered official, and clients must cease all direct communication with the customer.

Flexible Fee Structure Designed Around You

At MAK Business Group, we understand that every case is unique — which is why our fee structure is never one-size-fits-all. We work closely with each client to develop a customized pricing plan based on the complexity, volume, and your needs. Our goal is to align our fees with your business needs and recovery goals, ensuring fairness, transparency, and maximum value.

Surrendered Assests

If the client chooses to recover or accept surrendered tangible assets in place of monetary payment, a reduced fee equal to 50% of the standard rate will apply, calculated based on the invoiced value of the recovered property.

Discovery Fee

If it is determined that the account was resolved prior to placement with us, 50% of the standard fee will be assessed.

Account Withdrawal

If an account is withdrawn at the client’s request after a resolution demand has been made—but before 90 days—a fee based on the standard rate may apply. If a resolution or payment is pending, full fees remain due regardless of the 90-day window.

Communication Policy

Clients must refrain from communicating directly with customers after placement. Any incoming contact should be redirected to MAK Business Group. If a client accepts a payment or payment plan outside of our process, our commission is still owed and must be paid within 30 days.

When Legal Action Is Required for Recovery

If legal action is required to pursue recovery, fees will be determined based on the complexity of the case, jurisdiction, and account details. Any applicable court costs or filing fees will be discussed in advance, and our team will work with you to structure a fair and transparent arrangement tailored to your situation.
